Dr. Craig G. Stark, is a physician executive with 20+ years of clinical, operational and leadership experience specializing in international healthcare with a focus on telemedicine and health systems management in emerging markets.
Dr. Stark served as the Group Chief Medical Officer for the Abraaj Group, the leading private equity fund in emerging markets until its liquidation in 2019. While at Abraaj, he had oversight of the Evercare Health Fund, a one-billion-dollar impact fund focused on delivering accessible, affordable and quality healthcare to underserved markets across Africa and South Asia.
Dr. Stark oversaw medical operations, clinical governance, medical training, and quality assurance for 26 hospitals, 17 clinics, and 32 diagnostics centers across 20 cities in India, Kenya, Pakistan, and Nigeria. He had clinical operational responsibility for a 3,200-bed healthcare system employing over 10,000 employees and delivering almost 2 million episodes of care. While at the fund, he ensured the smooth merger of seven independent medical groups across four countries into a unified, integrated healthcare system. He also supported the operating specialists in the design, construction, go-to-market strategy, clinical service plan and equipment procurement for two new tertiary care medical facilities built in Pakistan and Nigeria and implemented a unified quality incident risk management system, standard clinical quality indicator measures, clinical decision support tools, hospital accreditation and clinical practice guidelines across all facilities.
In 2019, Dr. Stark was part of the transition team which led to the successful restructuring of the fund into the Evercare Group and subsequent acquisition by TPG Capital, a global investment firm headquartered in San Francisco, California and Fort Worth, Texas, with $96 billion in assets under management.
Prior to this, Dr. Stark spent 12 years with International SOS, a leading health and security services firm, serving as the Regional Medical Director based out of its London, Moscow, Singapore and Beijing offices. While at International SOS, he designed and led a project in Nepal setting up a system of integrated remote healthcare facilities for 30,000 retired Gurkhas and their families living in rural areas across Nepal. He also directly managed a team of 40+ medical professionals in five 24-hour Telemedicine Centers located in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei and Seoul that delivered care for more than 130,000 travel and emergency medicine cases each year. This also included oversight of ten international-standard primary and emergency care medical facilities in China (Beijing, Tianjin, Tianjin, TEDA, Nanjing, Shekou, Dalian, Hong Kong), Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar) and Far East Russia (Sakhalin) seeing more than 150,000 travelers and expatriates each year. The Chinese clinics were subsequently acquired by Raffles Medical Group to form the basis of their China expansion.
During his military medical career, Dr. Craig G. Stark, served as the NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) Flight Surgeon and was in charge of the Internal Medicine and Aviation Medicine program at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) Healthcare Facility in Belgium, the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's Allied Command Operations. Prior to this, he served as the internist and flight surgeon for the Multinational Force and Observers in Egypt an international peacekeeping force overseeing the terms of the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel.

Dr. Stark received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed his Internal Medicine specialization at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Hesham has already co-founded (as a technical cofounder) and invested as an angel investor in more than 100 startups and has helped expand FasterCapital to have more than 1000 regional partners, a network of 1000 mentors, +500 offices worldwide, 200 partnerships (incubators/accelerators and venture funds) and more than 400 startups. FasterCapital has helped more than 300 startups raise more than $1B. Hesham has invested in Twitter, Zomato, SpaceX, Edunoor, dooet, letuscloud, Mobayle, Meody, abcmob, TVlize, Nakkeb, BeamGift, PickTaxi, MobAdv, Bazarmaker, Entablet, PinProfile, mp3ready, BookThatbook, Newsanalyse and many more. He is also a mentor for more than 50 companies. Hesham started his first company ZGroup Mobile in 2002 with less than $20/month and grow it to reach a valuation of $2.5-$3.25 million in 2005 by Public company Incagold plc (it would have been the first company in MENA region to be acquired by a public company). ZGroup Mobile is a developer and publisher of mobile content (mobile games, mobile apps, mobile music, mobile videos) and services. He started writing his first programs in 1989 in Basic and then moved to Qbasic in 1992. He has been writing software for 30 years now. He has been ranked 7th in Baccalaureate tests among 200,000th participants. He has completed his engineering degree at HIAST then he has done an DBA at Edinburgh business school and a Master in computer information science at AABFS.
Laban Roomes is a serial entrepreneur who Co-founded XRP Healthcare with his son Kain Roomes – The first Pharma and Healthcare platform to be built on the XRP Ledger.
Having had success investing in a medicinal cannabis company (Marigold Projects Jamaica) of which 49% was then sold to the Canadian public company giant Aphria for USD$80 million. Laban started investing in Bitcoin in 2018, and since then has made several other investments into Blockchain technology companies such as XRP, Zilliqa, Centric and XCAD.

Since then, Laban has attended and supplied luxury gifts in person to the Oscars, created luxury ranges of iPods and iPhones for a host of celebrities including Elton John the Beckhams, Floyd Money Mayweather, Usain Bolt, Mark Wahlberg, Clint Eastwood and Will Smith, to mention just a few, not to mention creating an opportunity for hundreds of individuals worldwide to work from home using his portable gold plating technology. The company has also launched initiatives and campaigns to raise money by donating a percentage of the company’s luxury gift sales to raise much-needed cash for several high-profile charities including the Elton John Aids Foundation (EJAF), The Teenage Cancer TRUST and SOS Children’s Villages.
Laban has also gone on to win the Great British Entrepreneur and the coveted Lloyds TSB – FSB Entrepreneur of the year award and now spends his time in Jamaica, Miami, and Dubai where he has business interests.
Kain Roomes is the President & Founder of XRP Healthcare – Kain was born in the United Kingdom London, a keen sportsman he grew up to play soccer at a professional level. Kain quit through injury and became a model in the fitness industry promoting sports brands such as Sports Direct and Nike, he then went on to become a full-time cryptocurrency investor after famously selling his steel and gold Rolex sub-mariner to purchase Bitcoin in 2018, and then investing in altcoins such as Zilliqa and XRP turning the £7,500 he got for his Rolex into over £2,000,000.
