Retired 1st Lieutenant Whitney Lynn, a veteran of the US Army Medical Service Corps and a seven-time Ironman Triathlon finisher, (2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2-mile run) brings over 45 years of experience in M&A, business development, startups, investment, and leadership. With a proven track record of achieving measurable results across global operations in multiple industries, Whitney is a highly accomplished CEO, entrepreneur, startup mentor, business advisor, and executive turnaround consultant.

As a Vice President Software Mergers and Acquisitions at Corum Group Ltd, Whitney was part of the team that has created over 10 billion USD in wealth and conducted over 400 M&A transactions with over $4 Billion US Dollars in transactions in more than 13 countries during the past 35 years. In this capacity, he provided strategic M&A and transactional assistance and guidance to help companies grow. Whitney also served as President of RWBC Holding, where he provided support to a family-owned company, helping to manage its growth.

During his tenure as Interim President & CEO of the 300 million USD Borland International, Whitney executed a strategic plan to gain profitability by downsizing headcount and implementing aggressive cost-saving initiatives. He also revamped the marketing strategy, completed the successful acquisition of Open Environment Corporation, where he was Fractional Chief Operating Officer, and drove the successful integration of OEC employees and subsidiaries with new leadership and culture worldwide.

As President & Chief Operating Officer of Colorbus, Inc., Whitney led the worldwide consolidation, integration, and restructuring of the combined companies with 180 employees and worldwide revenue of $45M. He reduced expenses and headcount to maximize efficiency and revenue contribution per employee, significantly improving quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

He also was the Founder, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at lncat Systems Software USA Inc which was successfully sold after only two years to Adaptec Inc for a total value of $26 US Million Dollars and the President & CEO of Meridian Data Inc.

With a talent for building and nurturing strong, trust-based relationships, Whitney advises, coaches, and mentor’s leaders to accelerate growth and profitability while positioning companies for takeover, negotiating mergers or acquisitions, and leading restructuring efforts once acquired.

Whitney has founded and grown several highly profitablesmaller software, systems, and storage companies, turning around companies from unprofitable defined market segments to revenue generation by developing targeted products, increasing customer base, and market share. He has also built major key account relationships and channels of distribution.

As a business owner, Whitney purchased the Ironman bike shop in Kona Hawaii, and a high-end Triathlon Specific Bike Store in San Diego, CA. He increased margins and sales by reducing operational expenses, managed operations, budgeting, finance, P&L, recruiting and training staff, and inventory management. Whitney also grew the business with aggressive sponsor programs and triathlete endorsements.

He is a Member of the Eliances, Newchip Accelerator, where he has worked with and mentored ideation, early stage and start-up companies in various capacities guiding them towards acquiring investors and creation of unique product launch strategies with the most effective channels of distribution. He has increased margins and sales through the elimination of redundant operations, managed operations, budgeting, finance, P&L, recruiting and training staff, inventory management with great sponsorship networks.

He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and General Business.

As the Director of Business Development at Application and Data Systems with $7 US Million Dollars, he implemented a Citrix and Microsoft training centre for a rapidly growing VAR with responsibilities in researching and contacting VC firms for business expansion, sales management, marketing and PR tasks. Including the day-to-day management of vendor relationships with Fortune 500 firms, Citrix, Microsoft, Foundry, Cisco, and a myriad other.

He has been the Managing Director - Americas, of Optima Database Management acquired by Harte Hanks with $216 US Million Dollars in revenue. He established the US corporate office for its UK based provider including corporate filing, licensing, banking, payroll and managed and grew resellers in North and South America, hiring and managing sales staff.

He has been the Chief Executive Officer and COO of F2F Events, Inc, leading producer of IT educational events. He was responsible for the day-to-day operational management of company and ensured that the company experienced 70% revenue growth and 20% attendance increases during first full year of management. Significantly grew number of markets and events, while increasing the overall success of existing business. Implemented a new revenue source from what had been a significant expense item, that contributed an additional 25% of profitability to the business.

He has experience as a Customer Service and Sales Trainer at Gateway Inc with $1.1 US Billion Dollars in revenue and he has been a Territory Sales Manager at ProfitPro. He is the Founder of the Future Workforce Foundation and is the Chairman of the Community Advisory Board at Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Centre having graduated from Utah State University.

Dr. Isaac Musuubo, has been the Director of Cypress Holdings Uganda Ltd since 2013. He is a Health Advisor at Guidepoint, a world leading expert network, providing business & government professionals with opportunities to communicate with industry and subject-matter experts to answer hard (or impossible) to research questions through the provision of on-demand consultation and data services for leading global companies while working with clients to connect them with top industry expertise.

He is a full-time medical doctor enthusiastic to provide solutions to challenging healthcare questions with the particular upsurge in NCDs and is currently indulged at a Premier Hospital serving over 300 patients daily in the heart of the Pearl's Capital and is delighted about the rapidly evolving healthcare sector!

During his tenure at Case Hospital aka Case Medical Centre, an urban, private, upscale, tertiary hospital in Kampala, the capital of Uganda and one of the five upscale private tertiary care hospitals in Kampala City, he was responsible for providing Technical Oversight and Leadership to a Proactive and Enthusiastic team at Case Hospital's Pioneer Outpatient Medical Centre in Entebbe, looking to provide a fully-fledged Specialised, Quality, Accessible, Available and Affordable Healthcare experience to a community that was yearning for so much.

He has also worked with Mengo Hospital, the oldest hospital in East Africa established by Sir Albert Ruskin Cook who came to Uganda with a Church Missionary Society mission in 1896. It is also known as Namirembe Hospital, a private, faith-based, community, teaching hospital in Kampala.

Dr. Isaac, is also a medical officer with the Africa Humanitarian Action (AHA), an International Non- Governmental Organization that provides effective humanitarian relief and recovery as well as advocacy services. AHA was founded in 1994 in response to the atrocities in Rwanda, and it has supported over 26 million people in 20 African countries to regain their health, dignity and wellbeing. Through the provision of humanitarian relief and sustained development support to distressed communities in Africa with partners like United Nations Population Fund, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, United Nations Children's Fund, United Nations Population Fund, European Union, World Food Programme and the International Medical Corps.
